nobility and courage

This article is about my past experiences being a missionary in the remote village, Agbalite (northwest) on the island of Mindoro,Philippines. I formerly worked with Laymen Ministries Inc. Time spent with God is never wasted. It urges me more to choose a better outlook in life and the courage to face the burden of helping the needy with overflowing joy in my heart because of love from above. I thank God for loving me, about all, so patient with my mistakes and still giving me UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. Peace, Joy and Love to all.

THE NEED

Baby Jaymar was in need
He's so sweet
You just want to hug him,
enfold him gently in your arms

She's my friend and I hold her dear
With her I pretend no danger is near
She's all I need, all I have indeed

seclusion
dependence
anxious for safekeeping

REFLECTIONS

Why Am I Here?
This question I ask
What will be my special task
You see me and smile
And care for a while
And then you move on
But no help has come

Just a girl
Yet, here it is
The ambition
The composure
And the felicity

ACT OF COURAGE

(Maring & Jimmy: The wife was miraculously healed from deadful malaria.)

Still smiling
We are not upset despite where we are
We don’t need much to be happy
Do you know that the sun shines after the rain?
Do you know that with Jesus there is a happy life?
Can you see life’s pleasures like rice in the field?
Can you smile like I do
When times are blue?

(Janeth: Who loves to tell me, "I miss you, ma'am")

(Ardy & Risel: My kinders who blossomed so fast)

(Clariss: Loves to sing "Sunshine In")

(Ardy: Improved a lot in his handwriting who used to write upside down)

We are all fine, Today is just great
Tomorrow might be a different fate
Do we look worried? We certainly don’t
We can enjoy life, How come you won’t?

The overflowing joy, the million smiles bursting through
It makes me so happy to be with you
All our days are filled with so much fun and laughter
We don't fear the day, whatever will be

We’re happy, we’re together
We’re enjoying the company
And have a great time
You’re welcome to join us

(Jo,Ash,Joy,Tim)

(Ash,Neng,Joy)

We won’t shut you out
Is it the same where you live?
What’s that all about?

Life is good , Life is a pleasure
When you have food and friends to treasure
No worries, my dear, We have each other
How about you, Do you hold one another?

(Tim, missionary and Bunso)

A Joy Ride........
Sit down!
Come along,
Enjoy the ride!
So much fun and laughter!

(canoeing with my student, mike)

Yes, she is mine
My sweetheart Risel
It feels so fine
To love one another
She’s leaning on me
Seeking safekeeping
And I hold her tightly
She needs my love never ending

EXPECTATIONS

Hi, I’m NICO
You know what I’ll be?
I’ll be smart
I’ll succeed
Where’s the world?
Give it to me
I can be anything
Just wait and see

Look at me!
What will I be?
Will I get my chance in life?
Will there be success if I strive?
Or is this my fate?
To stay here forever
Is it too late?
Will change come never?

THE CHALLENGE

I study hard
I focus well
To learn my part
As you can tell
I need to improve
I have to move on
Look, now I prepare the cornerstone
I am laying the foundation
For my future sophistication

As the light breaks itself on the water
It turns endings into new beginnings
And the children of the future
Search for their life’s meanings

(Rolly: Advanced class)
My challenge.... A better life...

Our view is great and endless it seems
Just like our hopes and like our dreams

The Mission..........

Somewhere across the waters
There are still villages and cities

They've never heard of Jesus
Because no one's ever told them

We've got to tell the world

THE LORD IS SOON TO COME!
